How tracks, clips, and the playhead work in CueEditio.
Tracks
Every project starts with five tracks: Main for your primary video, B-Roll for overlay footage, Text for titles and overlays you add by hand, Captionsfor Maya's auto-generated subtitles, and Audio for voiceovers and music.

Moving and trimming
Drag a clip to move it along the timeline. Grab the left or right edge to trim. Selected clips show a ring — press Del to remove them.
Splitting
Place the playhead where you want to cut and press S. The clip under the playhead splits into two clips you can re-arrange or delete independently.
Press S to split at playhead

Keyboard shortcuts
- Space — play / pause
- ← / → — step frame
- Home / End — skip to start / end
- S — split clip at playhead
- Del / ⌫ — delete selected
- J / K / L — speed control
