Maya never 429s, captions stay in sync, exports run in the cloud
Multi-model failover for AI, synced caption generation across both panels, retry button on failed messages, and Cloud export as the new default.
Upload a video to Maya from the homepage
The hero input now takes a video too. Drop one in and ask Maya to caption it, remove filler, or anything else — straight from the front door.
Screen Recorder 2.0 — preview, backgrounds, share in one click
A full redesign of the browser screen recorder: preview before you hit record, macOS-style framed backgrounds, full camera customization, MP4 downloads, and shareable links — no editor trip needed.
Canvas background color + Maya clarifies vague prompts
Pick a background color for the canvas in Settings. Maya now asks quick clarifying questions instead of guessing.
Fixed: videos not loading on projects reopened after a week
Signed video URLs used to expire after 7 days. Now we re-sign them every time you open a project, so old projects play again.
Voiceover generation progress bar
A proper progress bar with percentage replaces the static spinner while Maya is generating a voiceover.
Queue messages while Maya is working
Type your next instruction while Maya is still generating the current one — it queues up and fires automatically.
Text editing on the canvas + side panel
Double-click any text on the canvas to edit inline. Drag to reposition. Full per-clip editor in the left Text panel.
Meet Maya — your AI video director
The AI Director is now Maya. New landing page input lets anyone try her — no signup needed for the first video.
Caption animations, position controls, and project background color
Animate captions on screen, position them precisely, and set a project-wide background for letterbox areas.
Clippi AI widget added to CueEdit
The Clippi desktop assistant is now embedded in CueEdit so you can ask questions about the editor while you work.
Sharper AI Director accuracy and frame-precise playhead
Tighter prompt routing, better tool-selection accuracy, and a playhead that snaps to the correct frame every time.
Template chat and BackgroundMedia component
Start from a template with a chat-powered editor and layered background media.
ClipSearch demo search endpoint
Try the mobile video search app right from the landing page with an onboarding demo.
ClipSearch API + SheetAI video import

Version history + Instagram, WhatsApp, Twitter integrations
Git-style branches for projects, Instagram auto-DM, WhatsApp and Twitter crossposting, multi-platform scheduler, color grading.
SEO content, FAQ sections, About page, and analytics

Undo/redo, SRT subtitle export, and B-roll review step

Music library, Cloudflare R2 storage, cloud export, and video format presets
