Reply to Instagram comments with Gemini CLI

Auto-reply tools post the same line under every comment. Gemini CLI can read each comment and write a reply that answers it. CueEditio lists only the comments you have not replied to yet, so a second run never double-replies.

Gemini CLI asks before each tool call unless you trust the server. Leave confirmations on for replies and DMs.

Limits to know

  • Public replies are capped at 600 per hour per account.
  • Replying needs CueEditio Pro ($6 or ₹459 a month). Listing comments is free.
  • CueEditio replies to top-level comments on your own posts. It cannot comment on other people’s posts.

Questions

No. list_comments marks comments you already replied to (replied_by_me), and Gemini CLI asks for unhandled comments only.

Yes. Public replies have no age limit, so you can clear a backlog on reels from months ago. Only DMs are limited to comments from the last 7 days.

Give Gemini CLI two or three of your real replies as examples, or keep a short style note in its instructions. It drafts every reply and shows them to you before posting.

No. The CueEditio MCP can read and reply. It has no tool to hide or delete comments.
