Reply to Instagram comments with OpenClaw

Auto-reply tools post the same line under every comment. OpenClaw can read each comment and write a reply that answers it. CueEditio lists only the comments you have not replied to yet, so a second run never double-replies.

    Already-answered comments are skipped, so a daily run only touches new ones.

Because OpenClaw lives in your chat apps, the confirm step is a text: it sends you the DM it plans to send, you reply yes.

Limits to know

  • Public replies are capped at 600 per hour per account.
  • Replying needs CueEditio Pro ($6 or ₹459 a month). Listing comments is free.
  • CueEditio replies to top-level comments on your own posts. It cannot comment on other people’s posts.

Questions

No. list_comments marks comments you already replied to (replied_by_me), and OpenClaw asks for unhandled comments only.

Yes. Public replies have no age limit, so you can clear a backlog on reels from months ago. Only DMs are limited to comments from the last 7 days.

Give OpenClaw two or three of your real replies as examples, or keep a short style note in its instructions. It drafts every reply and shows them to you before posting.

No. The CueEditio MCP can read and reply. It has no tool to hide or delete comments.

No. OpenClaw connects to CueEditio as a native MCP server in its config. There is no CueEditio skill to install.
